Changelog

What's new in Wade. Updated every week with the latest improvements to the product.

Sharper chat, hybrid library search, and settings polish

  • Chat recommendations sharpened. Wade no longer suggests your own app's videos back to you, avoids brand-riding and hedged picks, and now surfaces context spikes, breakout formats, and analog-app analogies — all grounded in real high-performing examples.
  • Chat can write talking-head scripts. Ask Wade for a talking-head script and it will write one; it also keeps a whole-conversation ledger so recommendations stay consistent across long chats.
  • Chat critiques more reliable. Critique responses now lead with execution detail, flag concrete craft flaws, apply dataset hedges to format verdicts, and always compare against same-format winners.
  • Library search upgraded. Search now uses hybrid ranking for better results, filters apply immediately while you type, and a race condition that could surface stale results is fixed.
  • Creative brief has its own modal. The creative brief in Settings has moved to a dedicated modal, and the editable founder brief on saved apps is now preserved when app data is refreshed.
  • Cleaner app data. Higgsfield's product variants are merged into a single app card, and Cursor has been removed as its content is boosted-ad UGC rather than organic video.

Chat rebuilt, creator exports, and instant filter feedback

Chat got its biggest upgrade yet — a new recommendation engine, multi-app awareness, and sharper app answers — and Creators picks up gender filters and a CSV export.

  • Chat recommendations rebuilt. Recency-aware ranking, cleaner pattern grouping, and a third-generation judge model mean suggestions are fresher, more focused, and arrive faster.
  • Multi-app settings. Tell Wade every app your team works on and it factors all of them into recommendations and analysis.
  • Creator gender filter and CSV export. Filter the Creators page by gender and download a tailored CSV of any filtered list.
  • Chat answers app questions. Ask about a specific app and Wade returns accurate answers with card links; the back-navigation flash and stream timeout issues are also fixed.
  • Filter changes feel instant. Apps, Creators, and Trends now show a loading indicator the moment you change a filter instead of appearing frozen.
  • Video uploads in chat. Drop a video into chat for analysis — the 4.5 MB file-size cap is gone and the video stays in context for the whole conversation.
  • Creator countries and platform filter. Wade now detects where creators are based, and a new Platform filter lets you narrow to TikTok or Instagram on the Creators page.

Full app rebuild, accounts, and the new Creators section

The biggest week yet: Wade was rebuilt from the ground up as a modern web app, and you can now sign in.

  • Rebuilt from the ground up. Library, Trends, Apps, video pages, Settings, and Chat are now real pages with their own URLs — deep links, pagination, and back-navigation all just work.
  • Sign in with your email. Accounts are here: your settings, chats, and company profile now sync to your account.
  • New Creators section. Browse the top creators in your niche with avatars and dedicated profiles, filter by app or platform (TikTok / Instagram), and see what they're posting.
  • Chat recommendations overhauled. Wade now reasons about your audience and adjacent niches, checks that a format can actually transfer to your app, and backs every recommendation with a real high-performing example.
  • See chat's thinking. An expandable steps log shows exactly what Wade is doing while it works on your question.
  • Faster heavy pages. Creators and Trends are pre-warmed and cached, so they load in a snap instead of crunching data on every visit.
  • Quality-of-life. Library search, a language filter in Settings, a "Use Format" idea generator, automatic chat titles, and per-page browser tab titles.

Wade initial release

The first version of Wade is live — creative intelligence for teams making short-form video.

  • The Library. Top-performing short-form videos across your niche, with breakdowns of the hooks and formats driving them.
  • Trends. See which formats are rising and which are fading, backed by real performance data.
  • Apps. Track how apps in your space show up in short-form content and which creatives work for them.

  • Brand polish. Wade purple across selected cards, chart toggles, chat, and loading states.
